The continuing tragedy of Israel under attack by terrorist Hamas backed by Islamic states of Iran, Syria, Turkey, and Pakistan should serve as a warning to people of Afghanistan.

Pakistani army has carried out genocides and ethnocides in the past with impunity. There are reasons to believe that Pakistan is planning another one against Afghans residing in Pakistan.
Pakistan has given an ultimatum to Afghan refugees who were compelled by circumstances created by Pakistan and USA in Afghanistan post 1981.
It is learnt that Pakistan has ordered 1.7 million Afghan refugees residing in Pakistan to migrate back to Afghanistan within the next three weeks or face the consequences. We know what the consequences will be mass killings and ethnocide of Afghans.
Pakistan is once again playing with the lives of millions of Afghans, an old habit that seems to reassert itself from time to time.
Pakistani Army and elite had counted on a pliable government in Afghanistan after the installation of Taliban as rulers in Kabul. Taliban run government has shown its independence in many ways and is not willing to dance to Pakistani tunes.
Afghan government has clearly told Pakistan that it does not accept the Durand line as the border and will not tolerate any military moves in FATA. The economic condition of Afghanistan is far better than that of Pakistan.
An angry and frustrated Pakistani army is attempting to browbeat the Afghan government. Pakistan is using the Afghans residing in Pakistan since decades as hostages.
Pakistan is emboldened to carryout gruesome acts of genocide, ethnocide in an unfettered manner since it has never been taken to task for its past and continuing misdeeds against Hindus, Bangladeshis, or Palestinians. Its depredations against Ahmedias, Christians, Shias and Hazaras continues with impunity.

ETHNIC CLEANSING IN KASHMIR
Pakistan is used to dealing with a soft state, India that is Bharat, and assumes that it can play with the Taliban Government in Afghanistan the same way it did with India and Hindus over the last seven decades.[1]
Pakistan through consistent propaganda among the Muslims and violent acts against unarmed , and peace-loving Hindus drove out Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir in 1990. The mass murders of men, rapes of Hindu women, and open threats of genocide by terrorist groups led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani of Jamaat-e-Islami, Yasin Malik and Maqbool Bhat of JKLF , Lashkar e Tayyaba, Jamaat e Mohammad etc funded and organised by Pakistani army drove out more than a quarter million Hindus from the Kashmir valley.
The ethnic cleansing of Hindus from Kashmir was possible due to a weak Indian government, in a country where Hindus are said to be in a majority. There was no public outcry in India, as the information on this heinous action by Pakistan was downplayed by the government and media dominated from Lutyens’ Delhi.[i]
Pakistan has been emboldened by the nonintervention in its ethnocide activities by western powers and support from other Muslim countries in the past. It plans a repeat of ethnic cleansing of Afghans stranded in Pakistan.
There was no outcry from the rest of the world, and its ‘liberal media’ either. Even today, as the hate campaign against the film Kashmir Files nationally and internationally , shows that any attempt by nationalist Indians to even mention ethnic cleansing of Hindu Pandits from Kashmir provokes violent reaction from political parties and left media and even the judiciary as attempts to ‘disturb the peace’.
This episode of the driving out of Pandits from their homes, in post-independent India, stands as a monument of shame.

Army personnel who were involved in these heinous acts were never brought to book. In fact, Tikka Khan also called the ‘Butcher of Bangladesh’ was promoted by Zulfiqar Bhutto to the rank of full general and became the Chief of the Pakistani army.
Instead of condemning the atrocities committed by Pakistan, it was encouraged and supported by NATO powers led by USA, and all Islamic countries. Gaddafi called it ‘jihad’, Saudis supplied them with tanks and guns post liberation of Bangladesh.
Baluchistan
The forcible subjugation and occupation of a defenceless Baluchistan was a clear travesty of international laws. It was the handiwork of Mohammad Ali Jinnah (who as a lawyer had formalised the ‘Stand Still Agreement’ between the governments of Pakistan and Kalat).[i]
Death and destruction of hundreds of Baluchis using USA gifted armed helicopters, relentless bombings, and military raids by Gen Tikka Khan at the behest of Zulfiqar Bhutto, have not been addressed till today. Mass abductions and ‘disappearances’ of young men in Baluchistan are unquestioned and continue even today.
DURAND LINE
Durand Line was an administrative arrangement arrived at by the colonial British Government and the Ruler of Afghanistan Abdur Rahman Khan in Nov 1893. It was beset with many issues ab-initio and was not settled inspite of repeated negotiations and treaties. Its demarcation was left incomplete, and finally the validity of the line itself was negated by King Zahir Shah of Afghanistan after a Loya Jirga on 26 July 1949.[ii]
This line artificially divided the areas inhabited by Pushtun tribes and was a part of Afghanistan since times immemorial. In 1947, the outgoing British colonial government handed over West Punjab to the Dominion of Pakistan headed by its first president Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Jinnah was advised by the outgoing Governor General Lord Louis Mountbatten to formalise the Durand Line as the border with Afghanistan, after consultations with the Afghan government.
However, neither Jinnah’s government nor the successive governments in Pakistan including its martial law administrators cared to come to an understanding with the Afghan governments.

‘Strategic Depth” : Colonisation of Afghanistan by Another Name
Worse, Pakistani Military which dominates (owns?) Pakistan has gone out of the way to absorb Afghanistan and convert it into a subservient colony, in the same manner as it has annexed Baluchistan.
“ Strategic Depth” is the deceptive name used by the Pakistani army generals (trained in strategy by UK and US in their military colleges of warfare ). For the consumption of the Muslims around the world it was just practising ‘Umma’ , all believers in Islam getting together and waging jihad against infidels from Russia, Israel , India and of course the western world.
A subservient Afghanistan, with a pliable puppet regime installed by Pakistani army has been the dream of all Pakistani generals.
The art of Deception has been practiced and perfected by Pakistani army and its elite. They have managed to milk USA of Billions in the name of fighting against communism and terrorism over the last seven decades. Pakistanis have fooled the oil rich countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey etc , to fund their luxurious lives in the name of Islam and Umma.
USA, UK, and European NATO countries have been silent but willing partners in aiding the acquisition of production facilities, and proliferation of lethal atomic weapons by Pakistan.
Methodical Ethnocide
Pakistan has in the past adopted means and methods copied from the Nazis and communists. They have executed their nefarious plans in Bangladesh, Kashmir, Jordan (against Palestinians) , Baluchistan, NWFP now FATA.
Ethnic groups meant for slaughter are named and accused of working against the state. It is followed by earmarking areas and zones occupied by ethnic groups. Extremist elements[1] trained and supported move into specified areas and identify targeted ethnics who are then terrorised into leaving their homes and are shunted into ghettoes. Those who refuse to move are dealt with ruthlessly and killed.

Pakistani moves to finger persons of Afghan descent living in Pakistan and is born out of frustration. Innocent Afghans are being held to ransom. However, the possibility of it turning into ethnocide is extremely high.
Every country in the world must intervene immediately in the name of humanity and stop Pakistan from embarking on the ethnocide of Afghans living in Pakistan.
Government in Afghanistan must take up this issue most seriously, build support among the international community, to sanction Pakistan and save the unarmed and defenceless Afghans in Pakistan.
